Teaching Artist, Richmond Art Center

We’re Hiring Teaching Artists! Richmond Art Center (RAC) is looking for Teaching Artists with backgrounds in visual art and studio art for our in-person and online programs. We are looking for artist with backgrounds in teaching or leading programs for Jewelry & Metal Arts, Printmaking, Fiber Art, Warm Glass, Painting/Drawing and Mixed Media. Teaching Artists collaborate with the Education Department team to develop curriculum and unique offerings, such as classes, workshops and other programs for our community. Our Teaching Artists are an important part of RAC’s staff and are entrusted with the support and care of all our community members. Richmond residents are encouraged to apply! This position is as a casual employee, 2-12 hours a week, $35 per hour plus paid pre-time and curriculum development time. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
